Tea caddy spoon

Commemorative Charles Dickens tea caddy spoon.

Tea caddies were used to keep tea leaves locked up, back in the day when tea was quite dear. Which, if you go to places like David’s Tea here, it still is. The tea caddy spoon was used to measure the leaves out.

Status: The old sod’s B-day approaches on February 7th. A tea party must ensue.

Kill-ratio: 19:1

Alt-title: Untitled Object No. 323* For Measuring Out Lumps of Manners.
*(Yesterday I made a mistake and typed 323. Today is 323 until I re-jig and correct the duplications, and then might really be 322 or 321, but who’s counting)
