Vintage Egg Slicer. 1950s/60s?
A garage sale find. We have actually used it a few times. It produces very thin, elegant slices of egg, harkening back to the 1950s of imagination.
Status: Slice up a dozen boiled eggs and throw a Tupperware party.
Kill-ratio: 18:3 / 6:1
Alt-title: Untitled Object No. 321 For Slicing Through The Bedlam.
Nicely documented with your photographs…especially the one on top (one of my favorites yet).
Thanks John! Very kind.
Not kidding, but we actually have that exact same egg slicer! Had it all my life and it still works! And, as Olive says above, it does double as a very small harp!
That’s too funny! I wonder where it was manufactured – I suspect over on your side of the pond.
childhood memories… you can also play (harp) music on it!
Harp music – love it:)
