Stained Glass

Bit of Stained Glass. One pane missing.

It hung vertically, so the flower was never really facing up. The lead from the missing glass is super malleable. I knew it had this property, but not that it was so soft.

Stained Glass

That bit of purple is where it really shines.

Status: Now that’s it has been moved from the home to the studio, it might find a spot to be admired, despite its missing parts.

Kill-ratio: 18:3 or 6:1 Lazy Friday. First shots will do.

Alt-title: Untitled Anthem No. 161 for Stained Glass

I’m borrowing from myself. I already used Anthem for a Leonard Cohen Alt Title this week. But hey, this glass lets a lot of light in.

You can add up the parts
but you won’t have the sum
You can strike up the march,
there is no drum
Every heart, every heart
to love will come
but like a refugee.

Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That’s how the light gets in.

Anthem, Leonard Cohen.

Part of the Untitled Series of Alt titles, jokes and whatnots variously inspired by Richard, John and Ben. Happy Friday.
