This belt has so much patina, I’ve literally kept it for the wear and tear, even though the wear and tear isn’t mine.
A close up view of the holes (reason #8 for purchase of macro lens) looks vaguely like some nebula floating out there. Which I only just (re)learned that a nebula is essentially a cloud of stardust. And some other stuff thrown in there, but dust speaks to me more. Neato.
Status: Investigate standard wear pattern of cracking leather and find out what type of mathematical formula predicts it. Then sell.
the buckle is beautiful… you should just start wearing it instead of selling it. Maybe, like me, you are not a belt person. But it’s too gorgeous to get rid of.
