Sony DCR-TRV720 Digital Camcorder, which can play hi-8 and digital-8 tapes. I’ve kept it for those tapes I haven’t yet captured to the computer.
There’s about 10 of them. Which is 600 minutes of time. They are virtually unplayable without this camcorder, so I suppose it’s the tapes that are truly obsolete. Whilst this could still function, only at a petty 720 resolution however. And not sure you can buy the tapes.  When I purchased this it was in the month of January, and it was last season’s model, so it was greatly reduced from original price.  I wonder if I could get $50 for it now?

This is definitely an item to go out the door. Just as soon as those tapes get captured…
