The utilitarian ones I (or my partner) found at a garage sale. The artsty ones my mom bought for me at a flea market. Although I had ink pads, I never used them. I like the wear and tear on these, the fact that they are so well made, wood (!), and the sheer sense of handling they are imbued with. Paid. Paid. Paid.
Day 11 – Stamps

I’m curious about your decision to leave the plastic case (containing ink?) in the picture. Is this a statement made through contrast with wood and brass? … or does the case provide a visual balance to the brass and height of the stamp handle, drawing the eye down with color? Did you do an arrangement without the case, rejecting it.
Just curious.
The ink pad was in the same box as the stamps. 🙂
I do like its colour, and that it could still belong to this century but the stamps are from the last.
