This doll isn’t really obsolete as she’s my muse at the moment. And, functionally, she never really served as a doll I played with – hence her relatively good condition.
But she is part of a collection (or bunch) of dolls I still have kicking around. So she sometimes feels like clutter and thus belongs here.
This little lady has a lot more panache than any of mine did. No wonder you still have yours, she’s actually quite lovely. Ours always had a tawdriness. I could envision this much nicer “doll” fixed to a wall, surveying the scene. Sitting “out”, she demands the kind of space you provide in your photo, not easily accomplished inside a home.
